I have difficulty concentrating on my research since two weeks ago. More precisely, it is after I gave two consecutive talks on one Friday. That really drained my energy out.

I missed the old days that I could play baseball in the afternoon during weekdays.

Okay, I have a poster presentation in mid-September and AICHE in mid-October. No time for hanging around.

The hardest thing for non-native speaker to learn English is idioms. Many times I would find that I understand all individual words in a sentence, but have no idea what it means.
I ran into two idioms while reading an article about "articles", and decided to write them down. Hoped by doing so, I will not forget them.

For several days I though the spring was here when the temperature shot as high as 50F. It was last week. Starting from this Monday, we suddenly had another 2~4 inches of new snow; not to mention the temperature goes back to 20 something.

看football現場必唱歌單

來到美國，入境隨俗也開始看起了football。不過我只有看college football，跟台灣的HBL一樣，畢竟青春無敵卡好看！

去Beaver Stadium看football的時候，學校的吉祥物Nittany Lion會指揮群眾，一側喊"WE ARE"，另一側呼應"PENN STATE"。
